Hacked again :(

I am so frustrated! Zoro_kat has been hacked. I was in the account this morning but when I went back this afternoon I was logged out and I couldn't get back in. The user look up has a message from the hacker. I emailed the neoteam. So bummed...... Today is my birthday, some gift this has been.

Xa just told me that you can self-freeze an account by attempting to access it with the wrong password four or five times in a row. Lasts 24 hours.

Well, I'm going to ask everyone to remove zoro's shop from their banner and replace with either their own shop&misc or with a volunteer who will stock codestones, dubloons, and faeries.

I will add codies and dubbies for now, but my front page is pretty crowded.

I hope they fix it soon (by next week). Thanksgiving to Xmas is usually slow periods of work across the nation.

WOW, I can't believe they had the audacity to email that to you zoro. *shaking head* Hopefully, they (tnt) can use that as further proof that the account is rightfully yours.

Y'know, this person sounds so guilt-free about using your account that I wonder if they didn't buy it from a hacker, thinking it was an "old" and therefore unused account that the previous (actual) owner didn't care about anymore. No harm in contacting the connected email address to check, right?

They're certainly not innocent bystanders though. With that disclaimer that they have "moved" to a new location, they are definitely trying to impersonate the actual owner of the account.

Have you tried to self-freeze by multiple login errors?

I did try to self freeze and just got a message that I had to wait an hour and try again. I did email the hacker and asked for the account back. No reply.

That's what the "innocent" buyer put up to pretend they were the original owner.

If that's not zoro, then the hacker is now stocking zoro's banner categories.

i hope it's zoro and the text is just an oversight...

it's not me...... so upsetting. that account was a gift to me from my son. I hate to see someone else using it. I will contact the neoteam and see if I can at least get them frozen.
